Worm Farm

Make better use of your kitchen and vegetable garden waste with a "Just Add Worms" worm farm.

Kick that waste disposal and kerbside collection into touch and get some efficient tiger worms on the job.

The end result will be a valuable organic product that reduces reliance on our landfills and saves you money (stop spending money on expensive garden fertilisers).

As a avid gardener I use worm juice on all my veggies and my friends and family are amazed when they see the results. I have to use a ladder to tie up some of my tomato plants (as shown pg 8 March 2010 edition of NZ Gardener magazine)  In addition worm juice and castings are great for all indoor plants as they are odourless and easy to use.

Having your own worm farm is environmentally friendly, hassle free and fun.

If you're not into gardening you can sell the juice and castings to some one who is.

A "Just Add Worms" worm farm consists of:

* Two green working bins ... houses the worms ... this is where they work their magic!(worm castings created here)
* Black base bin with tap for collection of liquid fertiliser (worm juice)
* Mould or pot ... this allows worms that find themselves in the collector bin a way back into first level working bin.
* Two ventilated dividers for the working bins.
* One ventilated lid for the top working bin
* 250 gsm of industrious tiger worms.
* Bedding mixture and instructions.

Approx dimensions:
Each bin ... 42cm x 45cm.
Depth of bin ... 20cm
Height of bins when stacked ... 60cm

The bins are manufactured in New Zealand from recycled plastic, black components 100%, green approx 75%.
