Tui Bird Feeder - Deluxe Pole Mounted (Forest Green)
As advertised in the "Weekend Gardener" and "New Zealand Gardener" magazines.
This tui feeder has a larger base than our standard model to allow for the addition of water and other food. It comes with a wooden feeder block that has two screws through it for holding fruit and other food.
Additionally there is a container for water.
This delux model means that you can not only feed tui but other non nectar eating birds that frequent your garden.
The base of this feeder has a wooden sleeve attached to it that allows it to slide over a waratah standard. This makes it very easy to relocate the feeder to different locations. To install all that's required is a waratah standard and a good solid sledge hammer.
Waratah standard is not included. These are readily available at Bunnings or Mitre10 for about $14.00 (the one you need is approx 1.8mtrs in height)
A small amount of assemble is required ... two screws (supplied) to attach wooden sleeve to feeder base.
By prior arrangement collection can be made from Alfriston area of Auckland.
